*2012 World Chess Championship – Anand wins title again
In the 2012 World Chess Championship, played in Moscow, the 12-game match between Viswanathan Anand and Boris Gelfand had resulted in a 6-6 deadlock, and the tie-breaks were needed to decide the title. In the second game of the tie-breaks, in an intense battle Anand played fast and Gelfand found himself on the losing side after 77 moves. This turned out to be the deciding game.
