Format:

• 5-Round Swiss Tournament

• Time Control: G/30d5

• 3 Sections: K-3rd, 4th-6th, & 7th-12th

• USCF Rules and Ratings will be used

Schedule:

• On-site Registration & Check-In – 7:45-8:30AM

• First Round – 9:00AM

• Rounds 2-5 will begin when all games from the previous round are complete

Registration:

• USCF Membership is required for all sections. Go to https://new.uschess.org/join-us-chess to get a USCF Membership. Contact adamjohnsonchess@gmail.com for help

• Entry Fee $20 before April 7th, $30 after

• Online Registration is open until Noon on April 10th at https://payit.nelnet.net/form/sxL4e2Bx

• Mail-in Registration by mailing attached slip and entry fee to Middle Tennessee Christian School (Attn: Drew Shea), 100 E MTCS Rd, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. Make checks payable to Middle Tennessee Christian School

• Players not registered and checked-in by 8:30AM morning of the tournament or those registered without a valid USCF ID will be given a zero-point bye for round 1 Prizes: • Awards for top 10 players in each section

• Medal for top unrated player in each section

• Trophies for top 2 teams in each section Other Notes:

• Byes: Up to 2 half-point byes may be requested until 30 minutes before round 1. All byes requested during the event will be for zero points

• Electronic Devices: Players should have no electronic devices on their person while playing their games.
