Format: Swiss System – Rounds based on attendance
<16 players in section = 4 rounds
17-48 players in section = 5 rounds
48+ players in section = 6 rounds (rds 1-3 G/30;d5)
Time Control:
Rounds 1&2 – G/30;d5
Remaining rounds G/45;d5
All participants are encouraged to bring their own clock.
Awards: Top 8 (Additional prizes based on
pre-registration.)
Awards ceremony immediately following last round in section.
On-site Registration: 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.
All players must check in by 8:30 a.m. or they
will not be paired for Round 1.
Round 1 starts at 9:00 a.m. Rounds 2-5 as
announced.
Dues: No membership dues are required for
Regional Qualifiers.
Byes: One one-half point bye is available for
any round if requested at registration.
Tiebreaks: Only one champion! G/10 playoff for
First Place each section. Otherwise:
